Wait, what?

Juno as Jane Eyre?  I haven't seen Juno, but I heard great things about Ellen Page.  Then I saw some weird horror movie at Borders she was in just prior.  So, hmm.  But seriously, another Jane Eyre movie???   Let's hope it doesn't suck like some older versions.

Was it "Hard Candy" - the one you saw at Borders? I watched that. Creepy. And weird. But she was good in it.

It might have been, I can't remember the title.

I was thinking about you today, btw, because you haven't been on LJ much lately. How are things going? School?

Oh, and also? Thanks to you, I am now addicted to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman.

Heh, I was thinking of you last night, because I'm taking an online class. I forgot to put my name on an assignment, and got an email back from the instructor saying he has over 900 students and has no idea who I am from my email address alone. I was pretty embarrassed that I forgot my name, after I get on my kids' cases everyday. I told him I'd tell my 4th graders that even adults have to put their name on work if they want credit.

I haven't posted much, but I've been reading my flist. School is kind of busy, but not terribly. The whole district situation is pretty much settled, but having to move is stressing all of us out. Last day of school is a half day on June 5th, and we have to be packed and out by 4 p.m. on the 6th. The district will move our stuff (and I mean everything, textbooks and desks included) but we have to pack everything. Someday I'll post a really long update on the work situation.

YAY for making you a PW addict! I get the Confessions and PW Cooks feeds.

Well I've read the book and she would be ok as Jane Eyre but idk... I love the last version by Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens...

Oh, that version is the ONLY good one, in my opinion. The other three I've seen range from "eh, kind of lame" to me watching through my fingers (like a horror movie) and repeating various phrases about how bad it was (the William Hurt version, if you're curious). I had to force myself to finish that one.

I love the book ever so much.

Wow, Jane Eyre faces teenager pregnancy? The story's sure changed. ;D
