All those little customs are insane.
What doesn't make any sense is that Henry T's father left them alone while he was away. It is kind of weird he would do that. I doubt my parents would let me do that right now! lol

But it did show people were starting not to ignore proper conduct. I can't remember the exact situation, but Catherine asked Thrope if something was proper and he basically said "oh, who cares". And Henry's brother wasn't following conduct either.

Yeah, Carey was bearly recognizable in this compared to P&P. She's grown up and lost some weight, that's for sure. I like the old Carey better, personally.
