Some songs from the 70s are pretty dire. Goodbye Sam, Hello Samantha by Cliff Richard is terrible! It all about how he's dumping his guy friends because he's found out about a woman's "sweet sweet love". Seriously ick. It was released in 1972 (so he was about 30 and way too old for such immaturity).

"Tomorrow" from Annie is pretty awful.
