Over the week, I slowly got past the lack-of-money thing. Even realized I already paid a bill, so that's a little more elbow room. Have to look into something supplementary though. My friend started a blog to advertise our baking endeavors. She makes cake pops, and I will offer whatever I bake. Have to figure out how much to charge though. Enough to make it worth it, but cheap enough that people will pay. Sprinkles charges $3 for cupcakes; they can make far more than I can, and theirs look prettier than mine. But, the effort is why I would charge whatever price I decide on. Making, baking, mixing, and frosting even 2 dozen cupcakes takes about 4 hours, which includes clean-up. If I have to spend a long time baking, I don't want to make a measly 10 bucks for it. We shall see...

I've been thinking how I sink into ruts thinking a girl has to be "pretty enough" to date. Then I remember that is totally bunk. I hate that people, including myself, still fall into the lie that appearance matters most. Well, not most, but that men will not be interested if we girls don't look like supermodels. Not even supermodels, but just having my hair done and a cute outfit. If a guy I've known a while only started paying attention to me on a day I looked nice, forget it.

Speaking of...communicating with a couple of guys online. I've been busier than all get out lately, strangely enough. Yet I'll probably meet at least one of them whenever our schedules merge. The other, need to talk to a little more.

OooOo! That's exciting you have an outlet to sell your baked goods!

I wonder if all that supermodel stuff is a stereotype. That maybe any decent guy you'd actually want to date doesn't think that way. I obviously don't hang around a ton of guys, though. Another stereotype is confidence is more attractive than looks. Pfft. I find it easier to look nice than be overtly confident lol :P

My advice for selling things online, after being on etsy for a little while, is don't cave and undersell your stuff! I did that at the start and it didn't really make that much of a difference in the end other than I made money a little bit slower.

To the buyer, when you're looking at things in that price range, the difference per item is only a few dollars anyway. Instead of cutting costs to bump the number of sales, spend time on getting a good quality product (which, from your entries here, it sounds like you already have - sometimes just reading about what you cook makes me hungry :P). And sort out some awesome packaging and delivery systems so that people know it's been worth it when they buy your stuff.
