Just a thought for when you do watch it - the first time you might be stuck comparing it to the book. If that happens, watch it again, trying to just appreciate it as a stand-alone movie, as if you didn't know the story. If you end up disliking it, well, that's ok. I like it despite my criticisms of it. Oh, and don't watch the deleted scenes until AFTER watching the movie.
