Movies with Reena: Sherlock Holmes and North and South. Michelle brought SH for us to watch, but couldn't stay since her son is sick. Reena chose Sense and Sensibility for the second movie but I wanted something more brooding.

We both need to find British men, ASAP.

Your icon is oddly fitting.

I'm glad you did. After all this build up (and my constant rambling these past months) it would suck if you'd disliked it.

LOL I almost chose my "Use the force Luke" icon. I will use it now.

You obviously love it far more, but I did like it. Now maybe I will watch Iron Man.

It hit at the right time, what can I say? I've been slowing on TV fandoms, and I haven't followed anything movie related since SW ended. There's just a wealth of stuff out there.

Iron Man is also ♥. It's the antithesis of Batman. Instead of the angst, it brings the humor, but they're both equal in terms of quality. And you can't but love RDJ and his I'm-kind-of-an-ass-but-I'm-redeemable-and-loveable characters.

Yeah, that might be next for movie day.

WHAT ARE YOU TURNING ME INTO???

If I didn't actually post that picture on your LJ before, I totally meant to when I first saw it.

:D :D :D

I kind of liked him back when he was on Ally McBeal, then he had to go and get sent to prison. I was a sad panda.

I always kind of knew *of* him, but I don't think I saw any of his films until Zodiac, where he stole every single scene he was in. Then came 2008, and if Iron Man wasn't enough, Tropic Thunder that fall just sealed the deal. It was an amazing year for him. I'm glad he got his life together, and was able to reach the potential he was meant for. So many don't, so I think RDJ represents (finally) a redemption story without the tragedy.

Yeah I can remember him from way back when. Yay for what he's gotten through and what he's become.

Fangirling rules. Still fangirling Britlit stuff for the most part.

Oh, I recognized 3 people for certain from SH: William Houston, Eddie Marsan, and Hans Matheson.

Hah. Hans Matheson was in Clash of the Titans, but I never caught his name, so I just thought of him as Lord Coward the whole movie. XD

RELEASE THE KRAKKEN

He was in Les Miserables too. It was impossible to keep track of all the names while we were watching. Plus, we had no subtitles to help.
