Happy birthday holbytla!!! I would post a picture from my road trip but I just walked in the door and they are still on my camera. You probably won't see this till tomorrow but I wanted to say happy bday on your actual bday :)

I've discovered people read too slowly on audiobooks! I read the last 8 chapters online once I got home. Anyway, the story moved along pretty well, the mother was quite a character, a touch annoying and I told her to shut up a few times :) You're kept guessing and interested in what will happen next. Plus, you can read it online!

I'm running out of books to read, unless I attempt more Dickens. I never finished OMF.

How far did you get in OMF?
I'm tellin' you, try the movie to get some motivation. Dickens does ramble at times, but the gems in between are, to me, just awesome.

I got aout 60 pages into OMF. I want to get the movie, since the image of the curly-haired guy you've had in icons sticks in my brain. However, I still have Bleak House and Little Dorrit to watch.
