Progress

Today I went to Starbucks and scored 31 writing samples and entered the scores on report cards in about 3 hours. I came home and graded a set of math tests, and entered them in the gradebook. Then, I turned to the reading tests from Wednesday. An hour later, I've read 2 pages of the story to review it, checked email and various sites, and made ravioli for dinner. Oh, I've eaten nearly the entire package. Can we say avoidance? Not simply procrastinating, but I almost have an aversion to grading reading tests. I hate it, even with the knowledge that they did better this time than on other tests.

Must finish grading anything and everything tonight, get it entered, then start putting grades on report cards.

Grading = homework, IMO, and I think that's why teachers so often hate grading. *chuckles*

No, grading sucks because it tells you how much the kids really got, or didn't get something.

Ahhhh...the excitement and letdown. *big hug*
