I was looking in the book S&S last night to find where it said Eliza had gotten divorced from Col. Brandon's brother, and then the part that refers to the duel between Brandon and Willoughby. I kept reading lines out loud going, ok, I think that means _______.

I still can't remember the phrase, but it's not "upon my honor." Guh, need to find this!

You watch all kinds of classic movies and period dramas, so I know eventually you'll get to SoM. It's just been something I';ve known about and liked forever, and seems like everyone has seen, or should have had the chance to see. It's not a holiday movie, but just happens to be on around Christmas every year. Since its 4-5 hours on tv with commercials (3 hours on dvd) it seems like an epic event. Synopsis: Set in the late 1920s, A young woman who wants to be a nun is sent to be a governess for 7 children. The father is a Naval hero whose wife died, and he's very strict. It's a huge personality clash between them from the start, but the shildren soon take a liking to Maria. The songs are a little cheesey but fun at the same time.

You told me to watch JE '96? I don't remember. That's the one I was initially going to watch but you told me to watch 2006 instead.
