It's kind of sad to say, but I have already slipped into talking like they do in the period dramas already! Especially if I've been reading/watching a bunch of them. Everyone in my family thinks it's the weirdest thing ever. Of course to them I've always talked weird, so now it's just part of my oddball-ness.
If what you were trying to make a point to say was from Emma, it makes me think of the talkative lady Emma can't stand (her name slips my mind at present). When she's rattling on about her sister she always says "upon my honor." She says it so funny. Is that what you wanted to use?
I didn't get a chance to comment when I filled out the poll, so I will do so now. I guess the reason I haven't watched Sound of Music is I haven't really heard anything about it other than it's one of those classics everyone is supposed to have seen. I have tons of those type movies in my Netflix Queue but it's hard to get around to watching them.
But anyway, what I'm getting at is, you tell me why it's good (and keep in mind I know nothing of the plot, so if there is anything to be spoiled, shield me lol) then I will probably watch it soon. Did you mention something about it being a holiday movie? Which one is it?
Besides, I told you to watch the '96 JE and you hate it, so the least I could do is watch a classic musical ;P
