I LOVE IT!

I'm all a gushing, blubbering mess! Ok, I'm not crying, really I'm not, but I do like it!

you have to watch the longer version - I saw that first, and while the movie is good, it's different.

Oh, I'll be sure to watch it. I just have to finish the book first (I'm half done).

the 95 version with Colin Firth is much more like the book than the Keira Knightley version.

Put it this way - I love both Mr Darcys, even though Colin Firth was the one I feel in love with first, via the first time I watched that series.

I was at the bookstore earlier today, and saw the box set of the '95 version for $60, which I'm not about to pay. I'll rent it instead. I normally like to read books before seeing movie versions, but I don't think I could have gotten through the book without having seen the '05 movie first. I need the picture and the general plot to help me get past the language.

Also at the bookstore was some book called Jane Austen Miscelleny. I flipped through it and read that there's some book people wrote about "lost sex scenes" including ones involving Mr. Collins, and I LOLed in the store at that. Mr. Collins is simply awful!

now that's just gross - althought the 95 Mr Collins is worse than the 05 one. You have to see it to believe it.
