Simple pleasures

Starbucks blueberry scones - So good I was willing to forgo sleeping in to go get one. Oh, lovely scones only available in CA, how I've missed thee!

Bettas - they're just so darn cute. I should convince my sister to get another one.

Getting accustomed to new cars - I've already "broken in" the car by driving with the E-brake on. Didn't realize it till I got to my destination, and then I could smell it when I got out of the car. I'm so bad about that!

Vacation - what else can I say?

Massively bored

Checked email. Checked flist. Checked Myspace. Read some Strongbad emails (homestarrunner.com for the uninformed). AIM buddylist is on.


I'M SO BORED!!!!


Yesterday, while at the airport and on the plane, I read 1.5 kids novels, Freak the Mighty and Maniac Magee. I brought one teacher-type book that I don't really want to read, but I should. I didn't bring any curriculum books to look over, though I need to. I did bring Captivating which I actually really like.

It didn't take long for me to realize that I don't really miss tv, even cable tv. Saturday morning, while waiting for my friend to pick me up, I tried watching tv, and everything was boring. Putting away dishes was more entertaining! Here at my mom's, I still don't want to watch anything that's been on. My sister now hates Trading Spaces so I didn't watch much of that. I did see that Andrew Dan Jumbo is now a carpenter on the show (woo hottie!). I've been wanting to see While You Were Out lately, for Evan Farmer. :D However, nothing else is really appealing, except for the snippet of Alias my sister stopped on. I guess that's good.

I miss my computer. I wish my computer worked! It's dying a slow painful death, but I don't know what the cause is. My sister's computer drives me crazy, but at least the internet works. Must look into either fising my computer or getting a new one. Argh.
